Kartika Putri Accuses Richard Lee's Apology of Not Following Rules

Kapanlagi.com - Actress Kartika Putri asked Dr. Richard Lee to apologize according to the editorial rules in the mediation process regarding her report on defamation. The reason is that Habib Usman bin Yahya's wife said that Richard doesn't know how to apologize properly.

Indeed, Richard had apologized before. However, the mother of three children said that the apology was considered incorrect.

"So, why use an editorial? Because during the summons, we did not provide an editorial, instead the apology actually spread my good name again, defamation," said Kartika Putri when met at Polda Metro Jaya, not long ago.

1. Richard Doesn't Know How to Apologize

Therefore, the woman known as Karput said that Richard doesn't know how to apologize properly with good ethics. That's why during the mediation, she wanted Richard to do it editorially.

"So we thought, maybe he doesn't understand how to apologize in a good way. How to apologize with good ethics, it seems like no one has given him any input, so we suggested, this is how you apologize," she said.

2. Richard's Rights

Karput also stated that Richard's apology should be in accordance with the facts. And she didn't mind when Richard refused to do what she wanted in order to settle the case peacefully.

"Also, what's in the editorial? It matches the facts. There is a video with all the facts and evidence, and the editorial is not fabricated. So, if he doesn't want to comply, it's okay. It's his personal right," she concluded.

3. Kartika Tak Mau Minta Maaf

What confuses Karput is that Richard also told him to apologize. Even though the mediation prepared by the police is for the case he reported.

"But what confuses me is that as the reporter, I am told to apologize. We are confused and laughing together. Because this is mediation, we are the ones who reported there, but why do they demand us to apologize," Karput concluded.

With the failure of the mediation, the defamation case will continue until it reaches the court.
