Since his debut appearance with Vierra, Kevin Aprilio has already shown his otaku side through his Harajuku-style appearance and music influenced by J-rock. However, did you know that he is even more of an otaku than that? 

In a podcast with Eno Bening, the husband of Vicy Melanie revealed some interesting facts about himself that prove he is a "legendary otaku." This nickname is due to the fact that since the internet café era, he has been immersed in J-pop culture, from anime, manga, to its music.

Kevin Aprilio is still involved in Japanese music by forming a new pianist group called Piano Monster. This group regularly holds concerts featuring tributes to anime and game songs.

The life of a wibu is inseparable, including Vicy, his wife, who also participates. Kevin's wife once exchanged DMs with a member of the famous Japanese band, One OK Rock. "She’s so lucky with her love for Japan, she once got a rare Charizard card when she first opened Pokémon cards," Kevin shared.

One of Kevin's favorite anime is DEATH NOTE. So much so that Kevin admits he often imitates L's style, one of the characters in the anime. "When my hair is long, I often squat in a chair like L," he joked.

Kevin is also very close to the gaming world. He shared that he has played all the Final Fantasy games. "I played from 7, 8, 9, 10. I didn't play 11 because it was online. I played 12. I played the lite version of 13. But 13 has 3 episodes and I only played 1. I played 14 for a bit. I played 15. I played 16. So I've played almost all of them," he recounted. The Final Fantasy game itself is a well-known RPG model game both in Japan and internationally.

Kevin has even been nicknamed a legendary wibu because he has been actively searching for information about Japan since the internet café era. "Zmy days were still affected. Still. The price of the first Ragnarok Online voucher in Indonesia was Rp55,000," he reminisced.

So much of a wibu, Kevin once thought about buying a 1:1 scale statue of Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy 7. Which means it's the size of a real human body. "But my wife forbade it," he joked.
