Kiwil, an Indonesian artist, recently revealed that he was diagnosed with diabetes after undergoing a health check before hernia surgery. Check out the full information below!

This diagnosis was revealed when the blood test results showed his high blood sugar levels, preventing the surgery from proceeding.

Kiwil stated that his unhealthy lifestyle and random eating habits were the main causes of his current health condition.

"I only found out about it when I was about to have surgery. Hernia surgery, blood tests, and everything revealed that my blood sugar was 4.5, so I couldn't have the surgery," he said on Pagi Pagi Ambyar, which was watched on YouTube TRANS TV Official, on Monday (9/12/2024).

His wife, Venti Figianti, also added that Kiwil is experiencing blood thickening in addition to diabetes. She now regularly reminds her husband to adhere to the treatment for both diseases.   "It's not leading to cancer. So now he is being treated for diabetes and blood thickening," she said.

Venti noted that there have been significant changes in Kiwil's physical appearance and attitude, such as being more emotional, sensitive, and tending to be quieter, as well as spending hours in front of the computer without much physical activity.

"If the physical changes are clear, the changes in attitude are also there. He becomes more emotional, sensitive, and quiet a lot. He can spend the whole day on the computer, with no other activities," he concluded.
