Koes Hendratmo Becomes One with the Earth, Bonita Can't Stop Shedding Tears

Kapanlagi.com - The Indonesian entertainment world is mourning once again. The body of the late Koes Hendratmo, who passed away on Tuesday (7/9) morning, was immediately buried next to his wife's grave, Aprilia Puspitawati, at Taman Pemakaman Umum (TPU) Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta.

The funeral procession of Koes Hendratmo finally arrived at TPU around 5:00 PM. However, the family did not immediately bury the body of the legendary presenter of Berpacu Dalam Melodi.

About 30 minutes later, the family waited for the arrival of Bonita, the late Koes' daughter who was on her way from Yogyakarta. Upon arrival at the airport, Bonita immediately rushed to TPU Karet Bivak.

It was then that the late Koes Hendratmo was taken out of the hearse and buried. When the body was laid to rest, Bonita could not hold back her sadness, her eyes were swollen with tears streaming down her cheeks.

Prayers were offered until the grave was covered with soil. Bonita and her family scattered flowers on her parents' grave accompanied by their closest friends.

"Thank you for praying for my father," said Bonita after the funeral, Tuesday (7/9).

Not stopping there, Bonita also prayed for her late father to be given the best place by God and to be forgiven for all his sins during his lifetime. The departure of her father was certainly a heavy blow, especially since she couldn't accompany Koes in his final moments.

Koes Hendratmo himself passed away at the age of 79 in his residence in Joglo, West Jakarta, due to heart disease. Before being declared dead, the deceased was taken to the nearest hospital.
