Kris Dayanti Proud of Amora Lemos Joining Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia Label

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Kris Dayanti is happy that her daughter, Amora Lemos, is following in her footsteps as a singer. What makes Kris Dayanti even prouder is that Amora is under the big music label Sony Music Indonesia.

For the singer, who is familiarly known as KD, being under an internationally renowned label is the first step for Amora to achieve success as a singer.

"Signing a contract with Sony Music at the age of 10 was a miracle for me. I think this is the first step for Amora to succeed," said Kris Dayanti after the inauguration of the new office of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta on Monday (19/6/2023).

"You're lucky (Amora) to be under an international music label, which is present in Indonesia and growing rapidly," added Kris Dayanti.

1. Supporting Local Musicians

Kris Dayanti revealed that Sony Music has shown its contribution to the music industry in supporting local musicians for the past 25 years. The younger sister of Yuni Shara did not expect that Amora would become a part of the label.

"Being able to survive and progress in supporting Indonesian musicians for 25 years. Of course, unexpectedly, my daughter has become an important part of Sony Music's contribution to support musicians to continue to exist," she said.

2. Pray for Career Development

As a mother, Krisdayanti hopes that Amora's career will continue to develop in the music industry. Especially since there will be many challenges that Amora will face in her future career.

"This is also a challenge for Amora, and she will continue to grow and develop," said Krisdayanti.

3. Celebrating 25 Years

To commemorate the 25th anniversary of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia, Amora and Krisdayanti attended a celebration event with the theme '25 Years Young-ZilveRED' Anniversary.

The event also marked the inauguration of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia's new office in the Cilandak area of South Jakarta. In addition to Krisdayanti and Amora Lemos, the event was also attended by Menparekraf Sandiaga Uno, and Eross Chandra from Sheila On 7.

General Manager of Sony Music Entertainment Indonesia, Muhammad Soufan alias Munna, hopes that the presence of Sony's new office can strengthen Indonesia's creative economy.

"Hopefully our creative economy will continue to develop, and we want music to become the most important part of it," said Muhammad Soufan.
