Vicky has been officially detained since early July. However, his personal Instagram account is still active, operated by his younger brother. From there, the latest updates on Vicky's condition during his detention are also known.
"Today, I communicated with the officers at Salemba detention center because due to the pandemic situation, visits are not allowed," wrote the account @vickyprasetyo777 in his latest post.

Vicky is currently said to be in good health. However, the weight of the Kudeta Band vocalist has decreased while in detention.
"Kak Vicky has now lost 6 kg of weight. Alhamdulillah, he is healthy. Please be patient, fill your days with worship and continue to create. Love my big brother. Please pray for Kak Vicky in Salemba detention center. May he be healthy and sincere in enduring it, amen," wrote Vicky's sibling.
Meanwhile, the post itself shows a handwritten letter titled 'Filosofi Edukasi' (Philosophy of Education) from inside the detention center. In the letter, Vicky talks about truth and mistakes in a poetic language.
"The definition of the difference between truth and mistakes is likened to the wind. We cannot see it, but we are very certain that we can feel it. When you convey the truth, you will eventually encounter two different things. A good person will reflect and a bad person will be offended. It is very difficult to convince a fly that a flower is far more beautiful than trash," the letter reads.
