Because managing a durian business is not easy, Dewi Sanca learned a lot from her friend named Ardan who is the owner of Saung Durian Sultan.

"I plan to collaborate with Bang Ardan, God willing, if it's crowded. I will open it in another place that is spacious," said Dewi Sanca when met at the Grand Opening of Saung Durian Sultan, Ciseeng, Bogor, not long ago.

"I plan to open it in the Senen area of Central Jakarta. Maybe not in Ampera or in front of Atrium, we'll see which one is better and has better prospects," Dewi Sanca continued.

1. His Love for Eating Durian

Dewi Sanca's interest in starting a business stems from her love for eating durian. In fact, because of her love for durian, Dewi Sanca often seeks out sellers who are known to have delicious durians when eaten.

"I am indeed a durian lover, but now that I'm in my thirties, I have reduced my consumption. I usually look for it in Jakarta, like at Prima Buah Durian on Jalan Raya Bogor KM 24 number 24. I have gone hunting there before, and they have a lot of delicious durians," said Dewi Sanca.

"We have various types of durians, such as durian with black thorns, durian montong Bali, montong Palu, local durians, and petruk. The most popular one is montong Palu because it is not too expensive and has good quality. What's certain is that at Saung Durian Sultan, the price is like a sauna and the quality is like a sultan," replied Ardan.

2. Durian Business Starts to Increase

Meanwhile, Ardan said that the durian business is starting to increase again. Previously, during the early stages of the Covid 19 pandemic, his business experienced a decline.

"At the beginning, when the lockdown happened in March and April, we experienced a fall. But then it started to improve because the market was good, so we dared to open in Ciseeng. The wholesale kiosks also have good sales," said Ardan.
