Leaving PETERPAN, Andika Formerly of THE TITANS Apparently Expelled by Ariel CS - Says They No Longer Share the Same Vision and Mission

Andika explains his reasons for leaving the band PETERPAN that he founded in 2000. He revealed that there had been internal conflicts within the famous band when they were at their peak.

It was this conflict that led Andika and Indra, former bassist of PETERPAN, to form a new band called THE TITANS. Andika openly talks about himself and Indra being expelled from PETERPAN, KLovers.

“Did Peterpan have to change its name, or did you leave first?” asked Ferdy Element.

“Actually, I was the one who was expelled,” answered Andika.

Exiting the band PETERPAN, Andika revealed that he initially couldn't digest the issues that led to his expulsion. However, from the explanation that Andika obtained, it was known that the reason was that they no longer shared the same vision and mission.

“That's what I was confused about. Yes, because in Peterpan I was the leader. The one who spoke first was our former manager, Joy. But it seems like the kids were told, and the kids' spokesperson was Ariel,” he replied.

Outside of that, Andika himself admitted that the situation in PETERPAN at that time was no longer as enjoyable as before.

“I also don't understand why. But if I may be blunt, at that time Peterpan was no longer fun like the old Peterpan. Even before I was expelled, the atmosphere was already like a company,” explained Andika.

4. A Major Decision

A meeting was held to make a big decision. All PETERPAN personnel were gathered, except Indra. At that time, Andika revealed that the situation was no longer enjoyable. He suspected that the other personnel had already had a meeting before he arrived.

"I said, are you going to kick me out of the band? I said that directly, I shot it. Because the only logic I see, it seems to be heading there," said Andika.

"Finally, Ariel spoke up. Ariel said, yes, we no longer have the same vision and mission, it seems like we are no longer on the same page," Andika continued.

This meeting became an important turning point that ultimately ended the continuation of PETERPAN until now. However, the internal division of the band resulted in Indonesia giving birth to two successful bands separately, namely THE TITANS and NOAH.
