Long SAJADAH Series, Proof that Hasyakyla Utami Can Act and Cry

Kapanlagi.com - Hasyakyla Utami, the sister of artist Adhisty Zara, has started to delve into the world of acting. Most recently, this former member of JKT 48's fifth generation is involved in the production of the SAJADAH PANJANG series.

In this series, Kyla, as she is familiarly known, admits to facing many challenges. Her biggest challenge is singing while playing the guitar and crying naturally.

Kyla, who is used to singing in a group, even admitted to initially rejecting the offer to be involved in the series because she lacked confidence.

"Actually, I had previously rejected it because it's difficult to sing while playing the guitar, because it's not easy. I'm used to singing in a group in JKT, so I wasn't confident," said Kyla in Jakarta on Wednesday (5/5/2021).

1. Khyla Accepts the Offer

However, in the end, Kyla accepted the offer because she was convinced she could overcome all obstacles.

"I don't know why the MAXstream team could build my self-confidence, 'you can do it, it's not difficult, just listen to the song, it's not difficult at all'. After listening to the song and considering many things, looking at the cast, I finally took it because the storyline is also really cool," she said.

Kyla, who plays the character Adinda in SAJADAH PANJANG, one of the children of Andhika (Donny Alamsyah) and Aida (Cut Mini), expressed her satisfaction after going through the shooting process.

2. A Platform for Proof

In this series, it is also a platform for her to prove that she can act and cry naturally.

"Honestly, during the acting, I'm really satisfied here. Because there is also an achievement for the first time I can cry in a scene. Previously, whenever I had a crying scene, I could never do it, but in Sajadah Panjang, I could cry more than once and it came out naturally," she said.

SAJADAH PANJANG is a family drama that tells the story of the happiness of Andhika's (Donny Alamsyah) household being disturbed when his wife and children find out that Andhika has two wives.

3. Airing on May 6, 2021

SAJADAH PANJANG will exclusively air on the Maxstream platform starting from May 6, 2021, every Monday and Thursday. This series consists of 13 episodes and is a collaboration between Telkomsel and the production house OMG Metah Ganjil.

In addition to Kyla, Donny Alamsyah, and Cut Mini, this series also stars Arbani Yasiz, Raffi Sanjaya, Annisa Kaila, Ence Bagus, and Kiky Saputri.
