Kapanlagi.com - As the month of Ramadan 1446H approaches, SCTV is launching its latest soap opera titled 'LOVE AT THE EDGE OF THE PRAYER MAT' which will start gracing the screens of SCTV on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 8:05 PM WIB.
This soap opera, with a family romance drama genre, will be part of SCTV's Ramadan program series titled 'Ramadan Full of Love.' Adapted from a novel of the same name by Asma Nadia, it will feature several of the best stars from the country, including Cut Syifa, Megantara, Zikri Daulay, and Tsania Marwah.
“The storyline and emotions portrayed in 'LOVE AT THE EDGE OF THE PRAYER MAT' will provide a different sensation. Surprises will often appear in every episode, making this soap opera feel too precious to miss,” said Banardi Rachmad, Deputy Director of Programming at SCTV.
The storyline in the soap opera CINTA DI UJUNG SAJADAH begins with the struggle of Rindu (Cut Syifa), a woman who is expelled by her husband, Fauzan (Zikri Daulay), after being slandered for having worked as a prostitute (Commercial Sex Worker) in her past.
In reality, Rindu was only working taking cake orders and was forced to be a cleaner at a bar to pay for her sick brother's treatment. This vile slander came from the mouth of Denny (Andri Mashadi), who is none other than Fauzan's friend, harboring a grudge because his love for Rindu was rejected at that time.
In her despair, Rindu rises to fight for the custody of her daughter, Ayu. Meanwhile, Fauzan, although he has remarried to Alia (Tsania Marwa), realizes that he still harbors feelings for Rindu.

The turmoil intensifies when Alia, as Fauzan's new wife, tries to distance Rindu from their household life. Amidst this legal battle, Rindu is often accompanied by Hafiz (Megantara), a kind-hearted man who always faithfully supports Rindu through her difficult times.
Eventually, Hafiz decides to propose to Rindu. Seeing Rindu as more independent and virtuous makes Fauzan refuse to divorce her and is determined to return to her.
