However, that feeling of love turned into disappointment. Reinaldo Martin felt disappointed after his wife filed for divorce on June 19, 2024, at the South Jakarta District Court. Â "So, that's why I really regret many accusations that are being thrown at me. I'm just disappointed," he said.
Reinaldo Martin admitted to being surprised by the divorce lawsuit. What made him even more shocked was that the divorce lawsuit was filed shortly after allegations of Juliette Angela's affair with another man emerged.
"First of all, regarding this lawsuit, I was shocked because the timing coincided with that issue. Then why am I the one being sued in this position?" he said.
Because he has already made a tattoo of his wife's name on his neck, Reinaldo Martin admitted that he has not thought about removing it. "As for the question of whether to remove it or not, it has not crossed my mind," he said.
Meanwhile, in a separate occasion, Juliette Angela's lawyer, La Radi Eno, refused to reveal the reason why his client filed for divorce from Reinaldo Martin. "Please be patient, because this is only the first hearing," he said.
However, La Radi Eno conveyed one of the divorce claims filed by Juliette Angela. One of them is the request for custody rights of the child.
"We have conveyed that we will follow the stages of this trial, so just follow it. We are fighting for the custody rights of the child," he said.
The first divorce trial of Reinaldo Martin and Juliette Angela has just been held at the South Jakarta District Court. However, the mediation session had to be postponed because Juliette Angela did not attend the hearing.
"Then on July 10, we will continue with the mediation. Earlier, we informed the court that we apologize for the absence of our client due to poor health conditions, and there is no problem as we have been given power of attorney," he concluded.
