Medina Zein is once again attending a trial as a suspect in a defamation case based on a report by Marissya Icha. The agenda remains the same as before, which is to listen to the testimony of witnesses presented by the Public Prosecutor (JPU).

Medina Zein got married on August 19, 2017. They got married after approximately two months of courtship.
After getting married, it was not easy for Medina Zein to have a child. They have undergone two rounds of IVF treatment, and their efforts finally paid off. Their first child, Muhammad Syafi Hakim, was born on September 9, 2019.
Unfortunately, in mid-2022, Medina Zein filed for divorce from her husband. Domestic violence is suspected to be the cause of their divorce.
Although being sued for divorce, Lukman Azhari remains committed to always supporting Medina Zein in facing the defamation case reported by Marissya Icha.
It is known that Lukman Azhari works as a legal advisor. Undoubtedly, Lukman Azhari's expertise is highly needed to potentially mitigate the punishment that Medina Zein might receive.
Lately, their relationship has gradually improved. They canceled their divorce and finally reconciled with conditions.
In relation to the case, Medina Zein was officially declared a suspect in December 2021. She was charged with Article 27 paragraph (3) of the ITE Law and Article 310 and 311 of the Indonesian Penal Code.
In addition, Uci Flowdea also reported Medina Zein for alleged threats in October 2021 to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police. Uci Flowdea claimed to be threatened because she asked for a refund for a fake bag transaction.
Based on Uci Flowdea's report, Medina Zein was declared a suspect in March 2022. She was charged with Article 27 paragraph (4) of the ITE Law and Article 335 of the Indonesian Penal Code.
After the case, the police handed over the case file along with the suspect to the South Jakarta State Prosecutor's Office. On the same day, Medina Zein was officially detained and placed in the South Jakarta Metro Jaya Detention Center until the trial ended.
