Recently, Lucinta Luna shared on her Insta Story about her career in the entertainment world. In a fairly long post, Lucinta revealed that she can no longer appear on Indonesian television.
For that reason, Lucinta decided to collaborate with a content creator from South Korea. She is developing her career in the Land of Ginseng while completing her studies in Seoul.
Through her post on Insta Story on Wednesday, (25/3) yesterday, Lucinta Luna reposted her announcement about not being able to appear on TV anymore and her plans to collaborate with a South Korean influencer. Lucinta admitted that she can no longer enter Indonesian television.
"Guys, I want to share some information. If there are uploads inviting collaborations with influencers or Korean celebrities later, please understand. I'm saying this now so you won't be surprised, and so you won't immediately judge or 'bash' me again," wrote Lucinta.
Lucinta also requested that the video she just uploaded on Instagram not be misinterpreted by netizens. Part of that video is old stock from her collaboration with a Korean influencer.
"At least, honestly, I'm already used to being criticized because my position is quite complicated. I can't get on TV anymore, so now I'm trying to expand my wings abroad. While continuing my studies, I'm also building relationships and friendships with Korean influencers/celebrities. I'm doing all this for my future and my livelihood, which I always have to manage alone. So I hope you can understand and be considerate of my situation. Even if some people don't accept it, that's okay," wrote Lucinta.
However, Lucinta admits that she understands there are still those who criticize her. Especially after she posted a photo celebrating Eid al-Fitr in Korea dressed as a man, Lucinta understands if there are misunderstandings.
"I intentionally posted this again so that netizens can understand better. Get used to reading my story first before criticizing me in the collab upload with Sean and my Korean celebrity friends," Lucinta wrote in her post.
Regarding her complaint about not being able to appear on television anymore, Lucinta did not provide further details. Although many speculate about the KPI regulations concerning transgender appearances on television, Lucinta did not respond to the netizens' allegations.
