Luna Maya Gives Wise and Sharp Answer When Asked 'When Will You Get Married?' By Kartika Putri

With a laugh, Luna Maya gave a relaxed answer. "Not everyone is as lucky as you," she said as quoted from the TS Media Youtube channel, (6/6).

1. Talking About Luck

Luna Maya then shared her thoughts about marriage. For her, people who have opinions about marriage being enjoyable are probably the ones who are lucky. This includes their partners.

"In my opinion, people who have the perception of 'just get married, marriage is fun' are probably the ones who are lucky and have the right partner like what you feel now," she said.

"But maybe there are also people who hear your words, 'oh well, I'll just get married anyway,' but it turns out that the person chosen is not the right one for them," Luna continued.

2. Each Has Their Own Time

Luna Maya also seems not to worry about her current unmarried status. For her, every person has their own luck and time in their life.

"So actually, in the beginning, it's not easy to adjust as a couple in my opinion. So my principle is just like this, I think why haven't I (married) yet. It turns out that every person has their own time and of course their own fortune," she said.

"Maybe there are people who are lucky in their careers, some are lucky in their marriages, some are lucky in their families. So I think, we need to accept that we are different," added the 37-year-old artist.

3. Better Late

Luna Maya also stated that she would rather be late in getting married than rushing into it without meeting the right partner.

"For me, sorry I have the opinion that I prefer to marry late but I have to meet someone who can truly complement me. It's not just about marriage being a religious duty. Yes, marriage is a religious duty, but with the right person as well," she concluded.
