Welcoming the engagement event of her second child, El Rumi with Syifa Hadju which will be held on January 21, 2026, Maia Estianty shared moments of fitting the kebaya long before the event. In the vlog uploaded on January 21, 2026, Maia had every part of her body measured to create a uniform kebaya for El Rumi's and Syifa Hadju's proposal. The measurements were taken in detail to ensure a perfect fit.

On the first fitting day, it turned out that the finished kebaya was too tight, so it had to be altered. "This is still a bit off, guys... that's the purpose of fitting. Maybe because of the effect of my long vacation, I gained 2 kilos," said Maia.

"This idea is from Syifa," revealed Maia Estianty during the dress fitting. Syifa also admitted that she liked the color choice of her dress. She wore a soft yellow kebaya with a fit body cut that gave a slim and classy impression.

The kebaya designed by Asky Febrianti carries a classic theme with plain fabric, without adding lace or brocade as additional details.

The color of the kebaya specially chosen by Syifa Hadju matches the theme of the engagement decoration but still harmonizes with the terracotta kebaya she will wear with El Rumi.

If the front features a row of buttons from top to bottom complemented by fine embroidery accents at the waist, it makes the kebaya look classic yet modern; the back also looks great because it is neat and shapes the body well.

On the day of the engagement event, Maia Estianty's kebaya appearance also looked enchanting. She accompanied El Rumi together with Ahmad Dhani as they entered the room to conduct the engagement.
