Maia Estianty Taken to Hospital, Dul Jaelani Says His Mother's Condition Has Improved

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Maia Estianty's health condition was recently not good. The mother of three was taken to a hospital in South Jakarta accompanied by her youngest son, Dul Jaelani.

After receiving treatment, it was found that Maia had two diseases in her body. First, she was known to have esophagitis or inflammation of the lining of the esophagus, which made it painful for her to swallow food and drinks.

Second, there were three gallstones in her stomach, each measuring 1.8 cm, 1.69 cm, and 0.89 cm. To treat the gallstones, Maia was advised to undergo surgery. So, how is Maia's condition now?

"Now she's already home (from the hospital). Thank God, she's already getting better. She can laugh again, alhamdulillah," said Dul when met at the PO studio in South Jakarta on Friday (8/4/2022).

1. Maintain a Healthy Diet

According to Dul, after undergoing treatment, one of the doctor's advice given to his mother was to maintain a healthy diet.

"The doctor said one of the remedies is to just maintain a healthy diet," he said.

Since then, Dul, who loves his mother very much, sometimes reminds Maia to maintain a healthy diet.

2. Thinking Long-Term

"Of course, we have to. Children are obliged to remind their parents all the time. There will be a time when it's the child's turn to take care of the mother. We have to think long-term, we have to prepare from now on. Like, if mom still drinks coffee, I ask, 'mom, are you still drinking coffee?' Don't do that for now. Just like that," he said.

Still according to Dul, before his mother was taken to the hospital, Maia thought she had a fairly severe case of GERD.

3. Always Accompanying

"Since two weeks ago, if I'm not mistaken (she started complaining of pain). At first, it was thought to be GERD, they said it hurt when eating, hurt when swallowing, but it turned out that there was an ulcer," he said.

As a child, knowing that his mother was suffering, he immediately took Maia to the hospital and faithfully accompanied her during her treatment at the hospital.

"Yes, as a child, because I was free, I was obliged to accompany my mother," he said.
