Maki Zenin Now Becomes a Deadly Fighter in JUJUTSU KAISEN

Maki Zenin was born with "Heavenly Restriction" (天与呪禄, Ten'yo Jubaku), a hereditary condition that exchanges very low cursed energy for extraordinary physical abilities. Initially, Maki's Heavenly Restriction was not fully active due to the presence of her twin sister, Mai, which caused their cursed energy to be divided. This condition made Maki unable to see cursed spirits without cursed energy-infused glasses and often underestimated by the Zenin Clan.

Despite having almost no cursed energy, Maki is blessed with physical strength, speed, and agility that far exceed those of normal humans, even before her Heavenly Restriction fully manifested. Her superior physical abilities allow her to effectively fight against high-level cursed spirits and other Jujutsu sorcerers, especially by relying on her mastery of various cursed tools.

The turning point in Maki's strength occurred after the tragic sacrifice of her twin sister, Mai Zenin. Mai sacrificed herself to eliminate the remaining cursed energy within Maki, allowing Maki's Heavenly Restriction to become complete and fully active. This event drastically enhanced Maki's physical abilities to an unprecedented level, freeing her from her previous limitations.

After her Heavenly Restriction fully manifested, Maki reached a level of power equivalent to Toji Fushiguro, the legendary "Sorcerer Killer," who also possessed a complete Heavenly Restriction. Like Toji, Maki became almost undetectable by cursed energy detection and was able to fight special grade sorcerers with pure physical strength and mastery of cursed tools. Direct comparisons between Maki and Toji are often made in the narrative, emphasizing that Maki has reached the same level in terms of combat ability.

After the resurgence of her powers, Maki returned to the Zenin Clan and carried out a massacre against most of its members. This act was a retaliation for the cruel treatment she and Mai received, as well as to fulfill Mai's last request to "destroy everything." Although often misunderstood as a total slaughter, Maki specifically targeted the combat units of the Zenin Clan, such as the Hei and Kukuru units, which were actively trying to kill her, rather than non-combatants or children.
