Manager Reveals the Reason Mudy Taylor Died, Had Been Struggling Against High Cholesterol

The sudden departure of the comedian shocked many, including those closest to him. Doni, as Mudy Taylor's manager, explained the chronology of his artist's passing.

According to information received from the late man's wife, Mudy took his last breath in the afternoon after experiencing a sudden attack at his home.

"He passed away yesterday, Mas. I was informed by his wife at around 04:15 PM yesterday. They buried him last night, around 10 PM, half past 11 PM," Doni revealed when contacted by Kapanlagi.com via telephone on Wednesday (26/11).

1. Rushed to the Emergency Room

Before being declared dead, Mudy Taylor was rushed to the Emergency Room (UGD). His condition deteriorated drastically in a short time while at his home in the Joglo area, West Jakarta. There were no specific signs beforehand, just complaints of sudden shortness of breath.

"Yes, it was sudden, I mean he had shortness of breath. Then he was taken to the ER, and he passed away right there. It was in the ER around 04:15, sir," said Doni.

2. Cause of Death of Mudy Taylor

Based on medical information received from the family, there was fluid around Mudy's heart. However, Doni also highlighted Mudy's health history, which indeed had issues with high cholesterol in recent months.

"Well, they said there was fluid around the heart. That's what I don't know, I don't know either. There was some kind of fluid around the heart; if it's heart disease, it might not have been detected. But usually, he indeed had cholesterol issues," he explained.

3. Mudy Taylor Struggles Against High Cholesterol

This cholesterol issue has apparently been complained about by Mudy for the past three to six months. This condition has even disrupted the comedian's physical activities when it flares up, making it difficult for him to walk normally.

"Three to six months ago, he really complained about his cholesterol. His cholesterol is quite high; when it flares up, he has trouble walking, limping. Yes, as far as I know, he has had cholesterol issues, as he complained until yesterday, which disrupted his activities more due to cholesterol," concluded Doni.

4. Known for His Unique Guitar

Dhimas Mudiarto Ramelan Sutarto, popularly known by his stage name Mudy Taylor, is a comedian, solo performer, and actor from Indonesia. He is also known by his long and unique alias, John Mudy Marai Taylor Saragih Yahya Saladin bin Abi Thalib Marpaung Beibeh. His main characteristic when performing is always bringing a guitar and incorporating a medley of several songs to strengthen his comedic material.

His love for music is serious, as evidenced by his lengthy educational background. Mudy studied for six years at IKIP and continued for three years at IKJ, where he majored in Music Arts through a guitar playing test. In fact, with the music knowledge he possesses, Mudy has worked as a guitar teacher at Yamaha Music Centre and has opened other private music lessons.
