Many Audition Participants Lack Their Own Character Because They Imitate Their Idols, Reza DA Reveals His Singing Technique

1. No Secret Technique

In a live session with Kapanlagi.com and Indosiar, Reza admitted that he actually does not have any secret technique behind the success of his performances on stage. However, Reza emphasized that every singer must have their own character and distinctive features.

"The secret is always wanting to perform to the maximum without expecting praise. No matter what feedback we get from the judges, the important thing is that we can go through every round and challenge given according to our abilities," said Reza DA.

"Reza has a character that people say 'oh, his singing is like Arabic style' which eventually shapes his character because that's how Reza is. Character is an important thing that singers must have in order to maintain their existence in the world of singing," he continued.

2. Attractive Technique

Reza also conveyed that to have an attractive technique in every performance, it is necessary to practice. According to him, talent is like a knife that will become dull if not sharpened.

"If you ask if there's a secret, there isn't. I just learn, I want to keep learning, the main thing is practice and wanting to produce the best from ourselves. Whatever we want to do, we always learn first, train first," he said.

3. Not Endorsing

In addition, Reza also does not endorse the many audition participants who imitate their idols. He believes this is wrong because idols should be enough as inspiration.

"With the presence of Lesti, Ical, Fildan, and others, they become motivators for young people who want to succeed like them, but they are too much of a copycat and become like that person, that's the mistake. We can't become someone else, what is within us should be explored, trained, and discover something new within ourselves," he concluded.
