Onadio is not only known for his golden voice but also his humor. Over time, he ventured into the world of podcasts and even became a host.
His interview with Habib Jafar went viral. In the interview, he admitted that his perspective on Islam changed since he got to know Habib Jafar.
"Maybe someday I will choose Islam. My perception of Islam has changed since I met Habib (Jafar). Changed completely," said Onad in the Noice YouTube channel, Wednesday (05/04/2023).
"I'm a fan of Habib, that's why I started to be interested," he added. The statement was immediately responded to with a joke by Habib Jafar.
"I'm a fan but not a convert, hehe," he said with a laugh. Onad then admitted that there is a possibility of converting but not now.
"Not yet, there will be a time (to convert). Maybe someday I will choose Islam,” said the man who once starred in the movie PRETTY BOYS.
Regarding religion, it is known that Onad is a Christian but rarely goes to church. "At the age of 23 or 24, I started to leave my religion a little. I was indifferent when invited to go to church," Onad recalled.
Apparently, this did not provoke anger from his father. "Dad is not sad because he is also lazy about it. There is also a sarong at home," explained Onad.
Although they have different religions, Onad and his wife have always been seen as harmonious. They both respect each other's beliefs.
Onad himself once confessed to liking Habib Jafar's preaching style that does not impose. For him, Habib Jafar's preaching style is very calming.
