Maura Magnalia Becomes One with the Earth, Nurul Arifin Accompanies the Departure of Her Beloved Daughter with Tears

Kapanlagi.com - Artist Nurul Arifin couldn't hold back her sadness when her daughter, Maura Magnalia Madyaratri, was buried. The 55-year-old woman's first daughter was buried at San Diego Hills Memorial Park, Karawang, West Java.

Starting from family to friends of the late Maura, they all accompanied her to her final resting place. Before being buried, Nurul Arifin along with Mayong Suryo Laksono and Melkior Mirari Manusaktri, her son, had a photo session in front of the coffin.

The event continued with a joint prayer led by a pastor, until finally the coffin was lowered into the grave. When the coffin started to be lowered, Nurul Arifin was seen crying, occasionally wiping her tears with a tissue.

Meanwhile, her husband and Mayong looked strong. They immediately scattered flowers before the grave was covered with soil.

"This is the culmination of the procession, which is the burial, it's done, it's complete," said Nurul Arifin after the funeral, Thursday (26/1).

Maura Magnalia Madyaratri passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022, at 05:37 WIB at Puri Cinere Hospital, Depok, West Java. The exact cause of death of this 27-year-old girl was initially unknown, but it was reported that Maura died of heart failure. 

When met at the funeral home in Cinere, Depok, West Java, on Tuesday (25/1), Maura Magnalia Madyaratri's parents, Nurul Arifin and Mayong Suryolaksono, revealed the cause of their daughter's death. Mayong stated that Maura did indeed die of heart failure.

"Her cause of illness was heart failure," said Mayong.

He also recounted the chronology of Maura Magnalia Madyaratri's death. Mayong said that their daughter's life could not be saved when she was taken to the hospital.

"Then, we brought her to the hospital at 5 in the morning, and she was pronounced dead at 05:37 WIB. So, there was 37 minutes and she couldn't be saved. She was already weak and cold," Mayong explained (25/1/2022).

In addition, Mayong said that Maura also experienced depression due to being busy with her S2 graduation. In fact, Maura apparently often came to consult with a psychologist.

"I don't know, maybe because her condition was dropping, she couldn't sleep, she was busy with her graduation next month, she will graduate from Sydney University, just finished S2. She still doesn't know whether she can go to Australia or not because it's still locked down. Then she also applied for a job, maybe because of stress, she didn't sleep for a few days, that's how it is. It turns out there are some things that cannot be detected by all of us, maybe Maura herself didn't expect it to happen so quickly," she said.

"(The illness) is relatively not. But yes, Maura is used to it, she's a bit depressed, consults a psychologist, young people," she added.

At that time, Lucky said that he had discussed about River Phoenix. There, Maura said that good people will surely leave forever.

"That night we were chatting, talking about River Phoenix from VIP Club, discussing it, she said 'He's a very nice person' basically 'good people die early' that's what she said," said Lucky when met at the funeral home in Cinere, Depok, West Java, on Tuesday (25/1).

In addition, Lucky also mentioned that during her lifetime, Maura Magnalia Madyaratri never complained about the pain she suffered. Therefore, he was surprised when he learned that Maura had passed away.

"No, she didn't want to complain about her illness, she wasn't a complainer," he said.
