Mayky Wongkar Reveals Reasons for Posting 'Small' Money Transfer Photos to Ria Irawan

It's understandable, as the man who initially worked as her personal assistant understands the weight of Ria's struggle against cancer during her lifetime.

Various melancholic posts were written by Mayky on his Instagram account after Ria's passing. One of them is a screenshot of a conversation between Mayky and Ria on a messaging application. It can be seen there that Mayky sent a sum of money transfer that was received with gratitude by Ria, even though the amount was not much.

"I am not a good husband, but I have a sexy wife. The husband can only transfer a small amount of money, but the wife is happy. Even though she could earn 100 times more from her work. I am a poor husband, but Allah has given me a wife who knows how to be grateful, how can the husband not love her to death?" Mayky wrote in his post.

When approached by the media, Mayky explained the reason behind his upload. He didn't mean to show off, but rather wanted to show that Ria is a very kind and genuine wife.

"Oh yeah, I'm proud to have Ria Irawan as my wife, even though we didn't know each other before we got close. I'm not a rich person who can give her anything she wants. So I'm proud to be able to give her money, even though it's a small amount. The proof is that I gave her the smallest amount and she was still happy," said Mayky when approached in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/1).

Mayky is well aware that he is not as rich or successful as Ria. However, the late Ria never made an issue out of it and was always attentive to Mayky, no matter how small the matter.

"I'm just happy that the late Ria left instructions for me, which are amazing for me. She didn't get angry when I was given that amount of money. And she always persuades me, even if I don't give her money, when I come home after work, 'Go straight home, remember me'," Mayky concluded.
