Zaskia Sungkar and Irwansyah have just introduced their second son to the public. The name chosen by this couple is considered unique and full of prayers and hopes. The name Urwah Muhammad Syahki was chosen not without reason, but rather inspired by a highly respected figure in Islamic history.

Irwansyah explained that the child's first name is taken from one of the companions of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. They hope that their child can emulate the good qualities of that figure. This name is also combined with a surname that represents both of their identities.

"Urwah is taken from the name of the Prophet's companion, Urwah bin Zubair. He was an intelligent figure, an expert in jurisprudence, and had high integrity. Syahki is an abbreviation of our names, Zaskia and Irwansyah," said Irwansyah at RS Bunda Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday (23/2/2026).

Zaskia herself feels very happy with the birth of Urwah. For her, this birth is a very beautiful gift, especially since the process of having this second son was not easy, going through the IVF program.

"The journey has been long, but Mashallah the result is extraordinary. Now I want to focus on raising these three children first," said Zaskia Sungkar, expressing gratitude for the pregnancy period until the moment of delivery.

"The struggle has been extraordinary, starting the program again in 2024, there were previous failures as well, until finally Urwah was born, this is the most beautiful gift at the beginning of Ramadan," said Zaskia Sungkar.

The doctor who handled Urwah's birth mentioned that the baby boy was very cooperative from the moment he first breathed the air of the world. His physical response indicates that he is a strong baby.

"As soon as he was born, he cried loudly. We immediately performed IMD (Early Initiation of Breastfeeding) and skin-to-skin contact with Kia. His birth weight was 2.6 kg, and his length was 47 cm," said Dr. Tiwi, SpA.

Zaskia's medical condition during pregnancy was monitored with advanced technology to ensure the baby was born in good genetic condition. This provided peace of mind for the couple during the pregnancy.

"In this program with Kia, we are applying PGTA (Preimplantation Genetic Testing for Aneuploidies) at Morula. So we already know that the condition of the embryonic chromosomes is healthy before implantation," explained Dr. Merry Amelia.
