Mediation Failed, Bams ex Samsons and Mikhavita Wijaya Continue Divorce Process

Kapanlagi.com - The divorce trial between Bams ex Samsons and his wife Mikhavita Wijaya has apparently been held four times at the South Jakarta District Court. This was conveyed by the Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, Suharno.

"The schedule for the first trial was on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, the second trial on May 18, 2021, the third trial on May 25, 2021, and the fourth trial on June 8, 2021," said Suharno, at his office, Thursday (10/6).

1. Fifth Session

The initial session was a failed mediation conducted by the court. Therefore, it was immediately continued to the fifth session with the agenda of replication or giving the plaintiff an opportunity to respond to the defendant's objection.

"Next, the fifth session will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, with the agenda of replication," said Suharno.

2. Grant Power of Attorney to Lawyer

During the ongoing trial, both Mikhavita Wijaya, who filed the lawsuit, and Bams Reguna, according to Suharno, do not know whether they will attend or not. Because the trial can also be represented by their respective legal counsel.

"Yes, what is clear in this matter is that the parties can grant power of attorney to their lawyers, whether they are the plaintiff or the defendant," he concluded.

As is known, the marriage of Bams and Mikhavita Wijaya is currently in turmoil due to the lawsuit filed by Mikhavita Wijaya at the South Jakarta District Court. They are reported to have separated since January 2021.
