Medina Zein Proven to Use Methamphetamine, Mother Reveals Her Daughter Suffers from Bipolar Disorder and Lukman Azhari's Reason for Not Visiting Prison

After visiting her daughter at the Jakarta Metro Police on Thursday, January 2nd, Hj Tien Wartini, Medina's mother, met with the media. She asked for prayers for her daughter's case to be resolved soon.

"My child is healthy, I ask for prayers so that she can be reunited with her son, especially the 3-month-old baby. And my child has never drunk or eaten anything. My child, I raised her. Alhamdulillah, I have a task. I ask for prayers from those who love my child," said Tien.

While Medina was detained at the Metro Jaya Police, her husband, Lukman Azhari, did not visit her at all. However, Tien understands her daughter-in-law's current situation, as she is currently on umrah.

"Because prayer is a weapon for Muslims. I ask him (Lukman) to pray a lot. It's okay, there are mothers and fathers accompanying her. We believe, and Medina is good for us. She loves her family very much. She is also good to other people," said Tien.

2. Medina Suffers from Bipolar Disorder

The arrest of Medina is regretted by Hj Tien, as someone like her daughter should receive support. It turns out that Medina has been suffering from bipolar disorder, which requires her to take medication, including those containing drugs.

"As a motivator to campuses, she was invited to inspire others. Why? People like Medina should be multiplied. But now she is down. There should be more people like Medina, young people who want to work hard and get tired. When she gets tired, she has to take medication. She has many aspirations, bipolar disorder. And there are also traces in her urine. I'm afraid I might be wrong, I'm sorry. Why from the treatment, what it's like, how, because she has been taking medication for 3 - 4 months due to fatigue. Because she's tired, she has many thoughts," she added.
