Mentioning Betrand Peto and Sarwendah, Comedian Ridwan Remin Reveals No Intention to Roast The Onsu Family

When met in Karet, South Jakarta, on Friday (12/2/2021), Ridwan's lawyer, Rando Vittoro, explained that his client had no intention to insult. Because that was not the main material to be presented.

"Ridwan never thought of insulting Ruben Onsu and his family because he saw that it was not roasting. It was an example taken when he explained about acquaintance or knowing. He didn't roast, there was very little part about Ruben and his family," said Rando.

Rando Vittoro said that the circulating and currently viral video is material created in 2019. In addition to Betrand Peto and Sarwendah, Ridwan Remin also mentions other figures like Denny Cagur and Christian Ronaldo. However, there is no intention to roast or make others the subject of ridicule in stand-up comedy.

"There is no intention from Ridwan to insult or belittle, because the context of stand-up is not about Ruben Onsu and his family. Instead, he emphasizes about knowing and understanding. Then he talks about his college experience. The part about Ruben is less than 20 seconds because that is not the content of the stand-up," Rando emphasized.

2. Communicating with Ruben's Party

Furthermore, Rando Vittoro will communicate with Ruben Onsu's legal representative, Minola Sebayang. He wants to resolve this misunderstanding so that it doesn't drag on.

"We haven't determined who is at fault, Ridwan or Ruben Onsu. We will communicate with Bang Minola to discuss, we will try to resolve it," Rando concluded.
