Miing Bagito's Wife Reveals the Chronology of Her Husband's Gallstones, Took Medication for 3 Months Until Finally Undergoing Surgery

It turns out that the disease experienced by Miing has been felt by a member of the DPR (People's Representative Council) during the 2009-2014 period since early 2020. This news was revealed by Liesma, Miing's wife, via Whatsapp chat to KapanLagi.com on Monday (15/6/2020).

"In early January, he went to the doctor because his stomach hurt. After undergoing lab tests, X-rays, and ultrasounds, it turned out that there were stones in his gallbladder. It was decided that he would take medication for 3 months," Liesma revealed.

Although he has been regularly taking medication, the pain experienced by Miing has not improved. A series of examinations and treatments that have been carried out still show no results, before finally deciding to undergo surgery.

"April should have been a check-up, but due to the COVID situation, it was not checked at the hospital. In May, sometimes the pain disappeared. In early June, the pain was unbearable, couldn't sleep all night. Finally, we went to the hospital and had to be hospitalized. After undergoing an ultrasound again, the gallstones had enlarged and there was an infection. The treatment lasted for 4 days, but the pain still persisted. The infection is still active. Finally, on the fifth day, there were MRI examinations, etc.," she continued.

2. Already Severe

Miing's gallbladder condition, which is classified as quite severe, was only revealed from the results of the operation conducted last Friday (12/6). Not only infection and swelling, there are many small stones inside the gallbladder of this man born on April 27, 1958.

"The operation was scheduled for Friday night. After various examinations, fasting for 6 hours. Entered the operating room on Friday at 7 pm, finished around 10 pm. The result of the operation turned out that the gallbladder was severely swollen, causing the bile duct to narrow, there were many small stones, and there was pus. That's why Mas Miing was in so much pain yesterday," said Liesma.

3. Condition After Surgery

After the surgery, Miing still has to undergo a series of examinations at the hospital. However, it is reported that the condition of this veteran comedian is improving.

"After the surgery, I was taken to the ICU first to monitor the fluid in my abdomen. There is a tube inserted into my stomach. I stayed in the ICU for 2 days. Thank God, on Sunday I was able to be moved to a regular room. On Monday (15/6) morning, the catheter and feeding tube were removed. The IV and tube from the stomach are still attached. Tomorrow (16/6) there will be another lab examination," he concluded.
