Moments Before Sandy Permana Died from Stabbing, Eyewitness Reveals Tragic Conflict - Meanwhile, There Are Suspected Personal Revenge Motives

"There was a mother who saw the victim allegedly fighting. There was also a neighbor of the victim who saw a commotion between the victim and a man," said Ade Ary when met at the Metro Jaya Police, South Jakarta, on Monday (13/1/2025). 

The face of the alleged perpetrator was briefly seen by witnesses. The man was said to have shown an angry expression with a glaring stare before leaving the scene. "The one who was fighting with the victim was glaring, and then he left," added Ade Ary.  

Until now, the police are still investigating the testimonies of the witnesses and have not been able to confirm whether the man is the same person that Sandy was supposed to meet at a lake before the tragedy. Authorities are also continuing to search for the alleged perpetrator who is still at large. "His whereabouts are still unknown," said Ade Ary.  

Previously, Sandy was found covered in blood after feeding his livestock. According to the local RT chairman, Sudarmaji, there were several stab wounds on the victim's body. "The information is on the side of the body, cheek, and head or neck. Three points, they said," said Sudarmaji.  

Despite suffering severe injuries, Sandy managed to run to the house of a neighbor who works as a nurse to ask for help. However, the life of the actor known for his role as Arya Soma could not be saved even after being rushed to the hospital.

The motive for the stabbing has not been fully revealed. Initial suspicions point to personal revenge, considering that the victim and the alleged perpetrator had a confrontation during a community meeting some time before. "Suspected personal revenge," said Sudarmaji.  

Sandy Permana was once one of the main actors in the soap opera Misteri Gunung Merapi 3, which skyrocketed his name in the early 2000s. Recently, he tried his luck in the political world by running for a seat in the Bekasi Regional House of Representatives through the Hanura Party.  

Now, this tragic death case has become a public concern. The police continue to investigate the facts behind the tragedy, while promising to soon apprehend the perpetrator and reveal the true motive.
