Mother Passed Away, Amanda Manopo Still Distraught

Henny Manopo passed away after battling Covid-19. Not only that, this mother of Amanda Manopo also had a pre-existing diabetes condition that made her condition even more critical and she even fell into a coma.

The departure of her mother certainly deeply affected Amanda Manopo. Amanda Manopo's manager, Ricco Ricardo, explained the current condition of Amanda, her father, and her sister.

"Dad is very devastated. It's like dad lost mom. (Amanda and Angel) Of course, they are also affected. But I can't force her to do an interview. I'm also waiting for her to be in a good mood," said Ricco Ricardo at Mitra Keluarga Kemayoran Hospital, Sunday (25/7).

1. Last Meeting with Mom

Ricco Ricardo said that Amanda Manopo last met her mother when she was taken to the hospital for the first time after undergoing self-isolation. However, after that, she moved to another hospital for intensive care.

"On the first day in the hospital (Premiere Bintaro), it was me and her (Amanda) taking care of things. Yesterday, we were called here (RS Mitra Keluarga) as a family, but we didn't meet (mom)," he said.

In Ricco Ricardo's eyes, Henny Manopo is a mother who always teaches her children to live independently and be obedient in worship. Amanda Manopo also deeply misses her mother, who always prays for her. The star of the soap opera IKATAN CINTA also admitted that she misses her mother's playfulness.

"Mom is the one who teaches Amanda and Angel to be independent, always obedient in worship, and never forget to pray. Every morning, Manda and I always give each other morning reflections to strengthen ourselves. That's why Manda now says (while crying), 'No one is supporting me anymore, no one is spoiling me anymore, no one is scolding me anymore,'" he concluded.

2. Buried in San Diego Hills

The late Henny's body was buried in her final resting place at the San Diego Hills 1 Karawang Cemetery Complex, West Java. The body was directly buried following Covid-19 protocols.

Amanda Manopo, along with family and mourners, could only watch from a distance of 10 meters as the late Henny Manopo was buried. When she saw the coffin being lowered, Amanda, wearing sunglasses, appeared unable to hold back her sadness.

The 21-year-old woman continued to caress her mother's photo while hugging it. When the burial process was complete, Amanda Manopo approached the grave and placed her mother's photo, and it appeared she also said farewell words.

"I can't say much, but on behalf of my family, I want to apologize to everyone who knows or doesn't know, in case my mother made any mistakes, please forgive her," said Amanda Manopo after the burial.

"As her child, I hope my mother can find peace, no longer suffer, just pray that she finds the most beautiful place up there, pray so that my mother doesn't have to worry about me who is still in this world and hopefully I can always be healthy and make my mother happy in this world," she concluded.
