Mother Passed Away, Vina Panduwinata Had a Premonition

Kapanlagi.com - A sad news is currently surrounding the family of singer Vina Panduwinata. Her mother, Albertine Panduwinata, passed away today, Wednesday (25/5). She took her last breath at Puri Cinere Hospital, Depok at around 08.30 AM WIB.

Vina Panduwinata said that her mother's health had been declining lately, so she had to be hospitalized.

“Her body had been shrinking a lot in the past few days. It turned out that her mother's heart was not good and her kidney function had also started to decline. We always took care of her at home, but at that time we thought we had to go to the hospital and it turned out that her body was not absorbing enough food,” said Vina Panduwinata when met at the funeral home in Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (25/5).

1. Condition Improved for a Moment

The singer of 'Burung Camar' even briefly talked about the last condition of her mother who had improved.

"Yesterday, all of us siblings gathered because her saturation had dropped to 60, her blood pressure was also not good, but at the time after Maghrib her saturation rose to 100 which means it was very good, apparently it's always like that when someone is about to leave, they are given the best condition first," said Vina Panduwinata who couldn't hold back her tears.

2. Starting to Become Unresponsive

However, this morning her mother suddenly became unresponsive. Vina Panduwinata immediately rushed to the hospital. But before she arrived at the hospital, her mother had passed away.

"Mama Ina came home last night, this morning my sister who was taking care of her there told me 'Vina, it seems like mama is no longer responding'. I didn't dare to believe it, I asked what she meant by that. Actually, I had a feeling that she had passed away, but I was in denial and didn't want to believe it. Mama Ina had not arrived at the hospital yet when her mother had already passed away. Mami passed away at 8:30, Mama Ina was still on her way," she explained.

3. Starting to Become Unresponsive

4. Had a Premonition

Vina Panduwinata also said that for the past few weeks, she had a premonition that her mother would leave her forever.

“Mama Ina actually saw that her body had started to shrink in the weeks before and had a feeling that Papa Pandu was waiting for her. My eldest sister was surprised when I said that. It was said about two weeks ago,” said Vina Panduwinata.

“It turned out to be true. Mom prayed not to be in pain for too long if she got sick. But it wasn't easy to let her go. I thank God that mom was eased and accelerated, but it still hurts. Please pray that mom gets the best place in Allah's side,” she concluded.
