Both baby boys were born in a hospital in Jakarta through a Caesarean section, precisely at 09:27 and 09:28 WIB. There is an interesting story behind the names that Mpok Alpa and her husband chose for their children. Check out the complete story below!
"Alhamdulillah, the delivery process went smoothly and I have wanted a Caesarean from the beginning," said Mpok Alpa when met at her residence in Ciganjur, South Jakarta, on Friday, (11/10/2024).
The third son of Mpok Alpa is named Raffi Ahmad, while his younger brother is called Raffa Ahmad. Raffi was born weighing 2.8 kg and measuring 44 cm, while Raffa weighed 3.25 kg and measured 46 cm. These names were chosen with great meaning. Â "Actually, my husband and I had prepared four pairs of names beforehand. But just before the birth, after the duha prayer, we got one more pair," said Mpok Alpa.
The couple finally chose names inspired by the last inspiration they received, namely Raffi Ahmad Darmadina and Raffa Ahmad Darmadina. Â "We pray that this name brings goodness for our children," she added.
Mpok Alpa's husband, Ajie Darmaji, explained the meaning of their children's names. According to him, Raffi means to elevate, while Raffa means goodness. Â "We hope that our two sons can elevate the family's status and bring goodness," he said.
Interestingly, the name Raffi Ahmad was also chosen as a form of tribute to Raffi Ahmad, who helped finance the delivery process. Â "We have a connection. It doesn't erase his goodness. Raffi Ahmad will always be remembered by us," said Ajie.
Ajie added that Raffi Ahmad was happy with the name given to Mpok Alpa's children. Mpok Alpa emphasized the importance for her children to know the story behind their names. Â "He has indeed given his permission. Mr. Haji Raffi said, go ahead. He was even happy about it," said Ajie. Â "Later we will tell them how all of this happened, and that the one who financed the delivery was Raffi Ahmad," concluded Mpok Alpa.
