Kapanlagi.com - Raffi Ahmad's house has new residents, namely three cute cats. Two belong to Nagita Slavina and were brought from abroad, they are of the British Shorthair and Scottish Fold breeds. The other one belongs to Rafathar as a fifth birthday present and is of the Scottish Straight breed.
Interestingly, Raffi is not a cat lover like Nagita, who has previously kept cats. However, he doesn't mind having those three adorable cats in his house.
Raffi then explained the reason why he doesn't like cats. Apparently, when he was a child, the family's pet cat often took his food.
"I've been living in a cat-loving family since forever. My late father and Syahnaz love cats. So we had six cats at home. But I don't like them because when I was little, the cats would often steal my food," Raffi explained when he was met at his residence in Pondok Labu, South Jakarta.
Although he grew up as someone who doesn't like cats, Raffi Ahmad allows his wife and children to have them as pets. Especially Rafathar, who becomes a subject for learning to care for others.
"Because my food was always stolen, I often get annoyed and that feeling stays with me until now. That's why I don't really care about cats. But it's okay for Gigi and Rafathar to have them, I'm happy about it. Having a cat for a young child teaches them to have empathy," he concluded.
