"It's fine, her family said it's okay. Her grandmother's family is Muslim, a mix, but there still needs to be family approval because it's her own conviction. At first, she was confused about talking to her family, afraid of how they would react, and so on. Finally, I convinced her that if she's really sure, why not? Not everyone receives guidance like you, let alone others. Even for us Muslims, it's difficult to receive guidance," said Sule.
"She's the one who spoke, because I'm not her family and we're not a family yet," he added.
Furthermore, Nathalie admitted that before converting to Islam, she had a dream that changed her mind, "it's like being whispered in a dream to recite the shahada, from when I was little until now, the voice echoed like a loudspeaker."
"She knows it by heart, the bedtime prayer and since 2015, for example, the opening and closing prayers, she has been learning since long ago, now she's delving deeper, so she's used to it," Sule replied.
