Kapanlagi.com - Every married couple certainly wants to have a child, including Natta Reza and Wardah Maulina. During four years of marriage, Natta and Wardah have not been blessed with children. Of course, this makes both of them sad, especially Wardah. Natta admitted that his wife feels sad when asked about having children.
"So, Wardah is the type who is extremely insecure. So, sometimes she sees her friends who have just gotten married and pregnant, and she feels sad and contemplative. This is often conveyed by my wife whether today's condition is because of her," said Natta Reza in a virtual press conference, Tuesday (23/2/2021).
Even recently, Wardah Maulina said that she is willing to accept her husband's polygamy because they still haven't had children. In addition to patience and prayers, various methods are being done by Natta Reza and Wardah Maulina in order to have offspring.
"There have been a few conversations like 'if you really want polygamy to have children, I allow it'. But in my opinion, that's not the only solution that can be taken and we have been implementing various programs such as insemination, acupuncture, and God willing, we will also try IVF because this is not just a struggle for women. Regardless, it's also the partner's struggle," she said.
Various efforts have been made by Natta Reza to keep his wife patient and strong in facing the situation, one of which is by giving a new work. Recently, Natta Reza released a single titled Percaya (Believe) under the label Alfa Records. A song inspired by his wife.
"Besides through my work, I have to be with her and often check, sometimes it comes from the male side too. Yes, this work is indeed to strengthen my wife," said Natta Reza.
"I wrote the song Percaya for my wife because I was inspired by her. This year we haven't been blessed with children and it's tough for a woman. So I try to strengthen her through my work because usually the people around us don't understand the situation we are going through even though we have struggled and they tend to ask 'when will you have a baby?'"," Natta Reza concluded.
The never-ending pandemic makes the situation even more difficult. However, it seems that it doesn't become an obstacle for Natta Reza to continue releasing a work.
