Netizens Criticize Mbak You for Predictions About the President's Resignation Going Viral, Mbak You: I Feel Hurt

Last year, Mbak You gave several predictions about what would happen throughout 2021. The predictions sparked controversy, leading to the paranormal being reported to the police.

After the prediction went viral, Mbak You seemed to disappear from circulation. She deliberately did this to prevent the situation from escalating further.

"This is how it is, I am a parent, I position myself as a parent. If I argue, respond on social media or in the media, it's not good either. So it's time for me to cool down, be silent, fix everything, correct everything. Because what is being talked about outside is not true as I perceive it," said Mbak You, who was met in the Kapten Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (24/3/2021).

After her predictions went viral, especially regarding the downfall of President Joko Widodo's government, Mbak You became the target of online abuse. She does not deny feeling hurt.

"I feel hurt, but I have a family, I have a team, I have loved ones, I have many prayers for me. So it is the strength that makes me able to stand," explained the bespectacled woman.

Although hurt by the words of netizens, Mbak You does not hold any grudges at all. Because she believes that there will be consequences for those who do evil to her. "I will not hold a grudge. I don't have any resentment because I know that humans have their own karma," said Mbak You.
