Through the Rumpi Live show, Cimoy Montok spoke about her reasons for wearing and removing the hijab. Cimoy said that she did not feel like herself.

"Now I feel like I can be myself again, back to the old Cimoy," said Cimoy Montok in the Rumpi Live show on Friday (28/1/2022).

2. Comfortable Without Hijab

She admitted that she feels more comfortable without wearing the hijab. However, she no longer wears revealing and tight clothes like before.

"No, I don't wear tight clothes anymore. Just normal," she said.

She also denied that her decision to remove the hijab was because she was not getting any job offers. She revealed her reasons.

"False rumors that endorsements are quiet. When I wore the hijab, I was invited everywhere. There is something that cannot be explained (why I took off the hijab)," she said.

Cimoy herself is unwilling to explain the reason because she also thinks it's not that important. She feels like nobody and nobody cares.

"At first, it was just a trial. I have a lot of headscarves at home," said Cimoy in YouTube Rumpi Trans TV, Sunday (9/5/2021). "Then it felt comfortable. And then, when I took off the headscarf, it felt like I did something wrong," she concluded.
