Kapanlagi.com - Artists Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie once again underwent a trial for a drug case with a demand agenda from the Public Prosecutor (JPU). In the trial, the prosecutor demanded that Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie, along with their personal driver, be sentenced to 1 year of rehabilitation.
"We demand that the panel of judges decide that the defendants Zein Vivanto, Ardie Bakrie, and Nia Ramadhani have been proven to have abused drugs," said the prosecutor during the trial at the Central Jakarta District Court on Thursday (12/23).
"Both defendants must undergo 12 months of rehabilitation at the Drug Dependency Hospital (RSKO) Cibubur," the prosecutor added.

As reported, Nia Ramadhani, along with her husband Ardi Bakrie and their driver, were arrested by the police for the abuse of sabu-type narcotics. They were apprehended by the police in the Pondok Indah area, South Jakarta, on July 7, 2021.
The police also managed to secure evidence in the form of 0.78 grams of sabu along with the smoking apparatus. They eventually applied for rehabilitation and are currently undergoing it at RSKO Cibubur, East Jakarta.

Artist Nia Ramadhani couldn't hold back her tears after hearing the demand read by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) for a 1-year rehabilitation sentence. The prosecutor's demand immediately shocked her as she didn't expect such a heavy demand.
"Honestly, we were surprised because the integrated assessment from BNN recommended a 3-month rehabilitation period for us to undergo," said Nia Ramadhani after the trial at the Central Jakarta District Court on Thursday (12/23).
"But just now we heard that the demand is supposedly for 12 months. I don't know on what basis that is," she continued.

Indeed, based on the assessment approved by BNNP Jakarta, they recommend that Nia and Ardi undergo a 3-month rehabilitation to overcome their drug addiction. Therefore, Nia and Ardi will present their defense in the next trial with a plea or defense statement.
"I only hope that the decision will be made in a week, and we can be treated like others. We can also get justice," Nia Ramadhani concluded.
