Nindy Ayunda Asserts She Will Not Forgive Her Former Domestic Helper Who Abused Her Child

Kapanlagi.com - Singer Nindy Ayunda and her daughter, Akifa Dhinara Parasady Harsono, gave testimony as witnesses in the trial of alleged abuse committed by her former domestic helper, Lia Karyati, at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (29/3/2022). Nindy and her daughter attended the trial virtually.

In her testimony, Akifa said that she had experienced a lot of violence from her former domestic helper. From being punched to having her hands pulled, she had felt it all. 

"A lot. Punched, pulled, and pinched. Her hands and feet were pulled and her hands were pinched," Akifa said during the virtual trial at the South Jakarta District Court on Tuesday (29/3/2022)

1. Small Problem

Akifa admitted to receiving harsh treatment from Lia Karyati just because of a small problem. Usually, Lia behaves harshly towards Akifa when Nindy Ayunda and Askara Parasady Harsono are not at home.

"If you don't want to eat," said Akifa.

"I didn't say that because of Mbak Lia," she said again.

2. Not Willing to Forgive

In the same opportunity, Nindy as Akifa's mother admitted that she is not willing to forgive her former household assistant. As a parent, Nindy feels hurt because the parenting style applied by Lia is not in line with her expectations.

"No (forgiving). Because as a mother, I feel that I gave birth, raised her, because I saw it directly, my body was trembling," said Nindy.

Lia is known to have committed violence against Nindy Ayunda's youngest daughter in June 2021. At that time, CCTV footage circulated when Lia allegedly pulled Akifa's hand and hit her head.

As a result of the incident, Nindy Ayunda reported Lia for alleged violence. Lia has now been declared a suspect and detained at Rutan Pondok Bambu, Jakarta.
