Amid his busy schedule as a football player abroad, Pratama Arhan is apparently not required to be physically present at the Tigaraksa Religious Court to declare divorce to Azizah Salsha. The court explained that there is a legal mechanism that allows the process to continue.

The mechanism in question is a special power of attorney. With this power of attorney, a principal or plaintiff can delegate the declaration of divorce to another person specifically appointed.

The Public Relations of the Tigaraksa Religious Court, M Sholahudin, confirmed the possibility in the divorce case of Pratama Arhan."It can be... but if there is a special power of attorney for the declaration, we will examine the power first. Eh, the Council will also investigate whether there is a special power of attorney or not to pronounce the divorce declaration," said M Sholahudin when met at the Tigaraksa Religious Court on Tuesday (16/10/2025).

Furthermore, he explained that this special power of attorney is different from a regular power of attorney because of its very specific nature for one legal action only.

"It means specifically for one act. Yes. What is it called, eh in mediation that is needed for eh what, the special power of attorney for the divorce declaration, yes, which is specifically for just one act of authority," he explained.

The parties that can be appointed as representatives are varied, they can be from the existing legal team or even family members.

"If that can be a legal representative, yes, it can be from, uh, what is it called, family or someone who is specially authorized," said Sholahudin.

Nevertheless, until now it cannot be confirmed whether Pratama Arhan will utilize this special power of attorney option or choose to come directly to court.
