However, that ambition was not realized because it turns out he was more interested in becoming an architect after being taught drawing by one of his teachers.

"The late (teacher) taught me drawing, which inspired me to enter the architecture major," said the star of the movie WHAT'S UP WITH LOVE.

2. Entering State University

In order to take architecture major, Nicholas Saputra also tried to enter a state university, namely the University of Indonesia. Besides, he also did not want to burden his parents with the cost.

"At that time, I wanted to enter a state university because it was cheaper in terms of cost. I didn't want to burden my parents at that time even though I had been working since high school," said this handsome 36-year-old actor.

"But at that time, state university was a much more affordable choice compared to private universities or studying abroad, and there was also the major I wanted, which is architecture," he concluded.
