"After coming to the house, (Aunt) was gentle, asking for blessings. Asking me to be the guardian. Yesterday, the wedding was held on Saturday, thank God it's official," explained Dody.
Dody also emphasized that his relationship with Vanessa has improved. He also hopes that there will be no more problems with his daughter in the future.
"Thank God it's good now. Hopefully, there will be no more conflicts in the future. Hopefully, Vanessa will be a good wife to Aunt. And Aunt will be a good imam for Vanessa," he said.
Furthermore, Dody asserts that he did not become the guardian of Vanessa's religious marriage. He also does not know who acted as the marriage guardian at that time.
"As I mentioned earlier, it's the same. Whether it's repeated or not, yesterday she got married religiously, and now she's getting married officially at the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) with the officiator, and I am the guardian. The first time, there was no guardian, not that there was no guardian, I don't know who acted as the guardian from her family. So let's not bring up the first and second issues. The important thing is that Vanessa is legally married, registered in civil records, it's official," he emphasized.
