Not Just Music, Festival Harmoni Indonesia Will Bring Performances of Indonesian Arts and Culture

Kapanlagi.com - Another national-level festival will enliven the entertainment world in Indonesia. Yes, the Festival Harmoni Indonesia will be held for the first time in Jakarta.

The festival is planned to be held at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in East Jakarta on October 28-29, 2022. In addition to music, this festival will feature various art and cultural activities from different regions in Indonesia.

The Festival Harmoni Indonesia is initiated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) through the Directorate General of Politics and Public Administration (Pol & PUM) in collaboration with Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. They also partnered with Boss Creator from the private sector.

Kiki Aulia Ucup, as a representative from Boss Creator, said that this festival will offer richer content. Not only about music, various entertainments that showcase Indonesian arts and culture will also be presented.

"We will build a harmonious festival, with music, arts, culture, and others," said Kiki Aulia Ucup in a press conference in South Jakarta recently.

1. Various Musicians

Of course, various popular musicians will be present at this festival. However, Kiki Aulia Ucup cannot yet reveal who the performers will be.

"There will be 34 performers each day. So, there will be a total of 68 musicians in two days," said Kiki Aulia Ucup.

Found in the same place, Director of Economic, Social and Cultural Resilience, La Ode Ahmad P. Balombo explained the purpose of the Indonesian Harmony Festival event.

“This festival is an idea and creation to build harmony. Something that we must support together through art and culture,” said La Ode.

3. Mature Assessment

The selection of TMII as the location for the event has also undergone a mature assessment. TMII is considered to represent the meaning of the presence of this festival.

“TMII is suitable because we can see 34 provinces there. Presenting something that has cultural value,” said Executive Director of TMII Emilia Eny Utari, Emilia from Taman Mini.
