Not Many People Know, Turns Out Vicky Shu Used to be a Leader of Al El Dul

It turns out that Vicky admitted that she used to take care of Ahmad Dhani's three sons, Al, El, and Dul. This moment happened when Ahmad Dhani was having a dispute with Maia Estiaty and eventually decided to divorce in 2007.

Vicky also openly explained that she started her career as a backing vocalist for Ahmad Dhani at that time, which made her closer to Al, El, and Dul. Vicky didn't mind taking care of Ahmad Dhani's three sons because she realized that they were far from their mother.

"Maybe at that time the children were still young, but they were all nice. I like the children and they are close to me," Vicky Shu said in an episode of Rumpi.

Vicky also added that Al and El often accompanied their father on tour schedules out of town. As for the youngest, Dul, he was still too young to join Ahmad Dhani's activities.

"Al and El often join the tour. Sometimes they ask to be carried or fed, and El likes to be carried," Vicky said.

Vicky took care of Al, El, and Dul for more than ten years, and she said that her relationship with Ahmad Dhani's three children is still very good. Even the three of them often kiss Vicky's hand when they meet.

“They are very polite, they meet and kiss my hand. I feel old seeing them all grown up,” said Vicky.

Apparently, Vicky Shu also frequently receives body shaming from netizens. One example is in a video post on Instagram. In the video, Vicky can be seen dancing accompanied by the song 'Mendung Tanpo Udan' sung by Nadar Boy Genk.

"By Allah, I am not offended because I am used to body shaming since I was young, struggling multiple times to become skinny from childhood until I gained weight in college," Vicky Shu sincerely said.

Vicky, who often receives body shaming from netizens, never gets angry and doesn't think too much about those mean comments. She only considers that the questions asked by netizens are because they are curious about the difference in her body and chubby face.

"I'm just sometimes confused and speechless about how to answer because I'm the type who can't be tough or mean to people. So I assume that they are genuinely curious, not intentionally mean, so I try to answer nicely," Vicky explained softly.
