Not Material, Marshanda Prepares the Best Inheritance for Sienna

Kapanlagi.com - A while ago Marshanda announced that she is currently suffering from breast cancer. She is even willing to accept it if her life is not long. Lately, Marshanda also feels that her life is much happier and can be useful for many people.

“Because I'm willing to accept death, it's okay if I die for real, my life is already happy and hopefully useful for many people. I've been living like this since I was little, suffering from bipolar disorder. So if I die, my life is already full,” said Marshanda in a virtual interview on Tuesday (14/6).

1. Message for Sienna

Regarding her illness, her only child, Sienna Ameerah Kasyafani, already knows about it. Even before going for treatment in Singapore recently, Marshanda gave a lot of advice to her child if she is no longer there. She is also grateful because she always receives support from her ex-husband, Ben Kasyafani, and his wife, Ines.

“The day before I went to Singapore, I gave her a lot of advice, but why did I say this, do I want to die? I gave her advice. I called Sienna for two hours in three days. I gave her a lot of messages if her mother is no longer there, like this, and she accepted it and she knows until now that I have a tumor and it's okay. Ben and Ines are also very supportive. I am happy with my life. Sienna is not being taken care of by her mother or father, but by Allah,” she said.

2. Leaving a Song for Sienna

Marshanda has also created a song for Sienna that has a deep meaning and will be a guide for her life in the future.

“I leave a song for Sienna so that she can hear it when I'm gone. Even though I'm no longer there, she has to know that she was born out of love, she has to know that even though Ben and I are divorced, she is happy with me, Ben, Ines. There are lyrics that hold the key to rising from any downfall. When she's feeling down, those lyrics will be her guide to life,” said Marshanda, unable to hold back her tears.

3. The Best Inheritance

Marshanda hopes that the song can be released soon. Because she believes that this song is the best inheritance for her child compared to just material possessions.

"I ask for prayers so that Sienna's song can be published. I'm the type of person who doesn't want to leave material possessions as an inheritance because I learned to be independent from a young age. I worked on my own, paid for my own school and was able to help my mother. I want her (Sienna) to learn to live financially independently. I want to leave the legacy of Sienna's song, so that my child can draw closer to the Almighty, that's the best inheritance according to me, rather than money," she concluded.
