Jefri wants to prove to the public that he is not only brave enough to fight against sarcastic netizens who are not fighters. Therefore, he challenged El Rumi who has a bigger build and physique than him.

"I was the one who challenged first, I wanted to fight someone who has a completely different physique from me. He is 183cm tall and I am 171cm, there is a 20kg weight difference between us. I have to gain weight and he has to lose weight in the middle, and this fight will be a statement for myself," said Jefri Nichol when met in the Sudirman area, Central Jakarta, on Thursday (16/11).

"Yesterday it was said, 'fighting someone who can't fight, fighting someone smaller.' So I'm fighting El," he continued.

Seeing El's completely different appearance from him does not make Jefri Nichol afraid. In fact, he mentioned that El's figure does not intimidate him at all when they meet in the ring later.
