Not Ready to Respond to Police Call, Lawyer Says Mawar AFI Still in Recovery Period After Surgery

Kapanlagi.com - Mawar AFI apparently has received a summons from the Depok Police related to a report from her ex-husband's lawyer. However, Mawar AFI has not been able to attend the examination summons.

Zakir Rasyidin, Mawar AFI's lawyer, finally explained the summons from the Depok Police to Mawar AFI. He said that his client requested a postponement of the summons.

1. Received a Summons

"Mawar has received a summons from the Depok Police to be examined as a suspect related to the Electronic Transactions Information Law," said Zakir Rasyidin when met at his residence in the Pejaten area, South Jakarta, on Tuesday night (22/3).

"Earlier, we have conveyed to the Depok Police to request a postponement of the examination, because Mawar is currently not ready to be examined," he added.

2. Not Ready for Examination

Apparently, Mawar AFI is not ready for examination because she has just undergone surgery. Her lawyer stated that her condition is not yet suitable for providing a statement.

"Because she is still in the recovery process, because she has just undergone surgery, her condition is not yet suitable for providing a statement. Therefore, earlier we requested time from the Depok Police investigator so that the examination could be postponed until Mawar recovers from her surgery," he said.

3. No Communication Yet

Zakir Rasyidin emphasized that Mawar AFI and Steno Ricardo's legal team have not had any communication yet and he hopes that the police can facilitate this. In addition, Zakir Rasyidin also stated that Mawar AFI is ready to face the risks involved.

Mawar AFI expressed her disappointment on social media and even mentioned Steno Ricardo's legal team. Feeling that her reputation had been tarnished, Steno Ricardo's legal team reported Mawar AFI to the Depok Police.

"If our client is indeed considered guilty, then she must comply with the legal process, she must apologize. But, if the mistake was not committed by her, then of course the legal process will see it as a situation that cannot be forced to continue," he concluded.
