Apparently, the first doll, which is now named Miracle Putra Gunawan, was obtained by Ivan Gunawan from Ruben Onsu.

"So I got this Baby Eqqel as a gift from Kak Ruben. Ruben has a baby named Robby, and I said I want one too. He said 'come here, I want to see a photo of you when you were a child'" he explained as quoted from Ivan Gunawan's Youtube channel (29/12).

"So the face of Eqqel was taken from my childhood photos," continued Igun.

After that, Igun also created his own Instagram account for 'his child'. In Igun's eyes, Baby Eqqel is not just a doll, but a life companion who can accompany him anytime.

"Why did I create an Instagram account for her? Because I don't see her as a doll. I see her as a life companion, a friend who can live with me. So whenever I go somewhere, I always bring her along, that's why I created an Instagram account," said Ivan Gunawan.

Netizens repeatedly asked Igun why he chose to take care of a doll instead of adopting a real child. The 39-year-old man has his own opinion.

"I'm not unwilling to adopt a child, but it all comes back to how prepared we are. Because taking care of a living child is a heavy responsibility, our hearts must genuinely love them," he explained.

Although it has not been thought of at the moment, Ivan Gunawan admits that he does not rule out the possibility of adopting a child in the future.

"Yes, maybe someday in the future I don't know. But for now, I haven't thought about it at all (adopting a child)," said the artist who is often rumored to have a relationship with Ayu Ting Ting.
