According to BKKBN, the reluctance to marry is triggered by various factors ranging from education, financial conditions, to living arrangements. Interestingly, even when these three factors are met, several celebrities still choose to remain single. Who are they?

1. Princess Patricia

Princess Patricia is known to still be single at the age of 44. She admitted that she does not want to rush into marriage just because of societal pressure.

"I want a life partner, yes, but is it for marriage? We'll see how it goes later," she said during an interview with Melaney Ricardo in 2024.

"The important thing is that I meet someone who is just a life partner first. Because there are so many people who force themselves to marry, and in the end, they separate anyway, so what's the point?" added Princess.

In addition, when she appeared on Rumpi Trans TV, Princess admitted that she is currently focused on taking care of her mother. "Because mom lives alone, there’s no dad anymore, I take care of my parents. As for my own matters, it’s easy," she revealed at that time.

2. Herjunot Ali

Herjunot Ali still chooses to remain single at the age of 29. In his interview with Deny Sumargo in 2024, he mentioned that the concept of love for life is too conditional. He is reluctant to depend on someone else for his happiness.

"Everyone has their own needs, and as long as those needs are fulfilled, there will be no more anxiety," he explained.

As he approaches his 50s, Thomas Djorghi continues to choose to remain single. He admits that he enjoys his solitude very much.

He is already in his 40s but Indra Bruggman is still not married. He once revealed one of his reasons back in 2018. Indra admitted that he is someone who easily loses interest.

"I do lose interest easily. So if there’s an attitude that’s not good, or words that are not good, I sometimes lose interest right away. I’m quite sensitive. I’ve had long relationships. But they’ve been on and off, on and off," he explained as quoted by detik.com.

In September 2023, Indra finally expressed his desire to get married. He realizes that he is no longer young. However, as of 2025, Indra is still observed to be single.

5. Anya Geraldine

Anya Geraldine is indeed still quite young, but she refuses to rush into marriage. This was revealed by Anya in her interview with Denny Sumargo last April.

"I just said it like this, 'for me, the target is not to get married at what age, but my target is to marry in order not to divorce, so sorry it takes a bit longer'," she said.

Furthermore, Anya admitted that she used to often look for a perfect partner, but in reality, there is no perfect human. She has changed her perspective.
