Not Wanting to Date, Dude Harlino Admits Directly Inviting Alyssa Soebandono to Get Married

Dude explained that their closeness began when they played as a couple in several soap operas. However, the 40-year-old actor emphasized that his relationship with Icha was only limited to work colleagues and friends.

1. Alyssa Soebandono Studying Abroad

After being close, Dude had to part ways with Alyssa Soebandono because at that time Icha would continue her studies in England. However, once again he emphasized that he and Icha had no special relationship.

"At that time, when Icha went abroad, we actually didn't have a special relationship. So just colleagues, shooting. But we were close, like that," said Dude Harlino.

"Actually, we contacted each other again when Icha had returned, because we were shooting together," he continued.

After a few years, Alyssa Soebandono, who finally finished her studies, returned to Indonesia. And in their first meeting after parting ways, Dude Harlino was fascinated by the new figure of Alyssa. 

"This is the one who used to be small, but now she's grown up. How sweet. Well, that's when I started to have intentions, like that," said the father of two children.

3. Directly Married

Dude Harlino's desire to have a special relationship with Alyssa Soebandono is apparently not just an empty talk. He immediately expressed his intention to meet Icha's parents and propose to her. 

"Long story short, I asked 'brother (Dude) wants to be serious, but doesn't want to date. If it's allowed, I want to meet her father, and if her father allows it, let's get married'. Long story short, it was accepted. Yes, finally we got married," he said.
