After finding out that the perpetrator was someone from her own surroundings, Nova Eliza did not expect it, because since their introduction until the person worked at her house, the perpetrator in Nova Eliza's eyes was a good person.
"Yes, a few weeks ago we had an unfortunate incident. Specifically, we lost our motorcycle. So we actually hired a worker at home," said Nova Eliza in the Gandaria area, South Jakarta, on Sunday (5/11/2023).
"At first, this person was really nice. But gradually, no, he is a thief and we lost our motorcycle," added Nova Eliza.
Nova Eliza was indeed looking for workers to renovate her house as she will be returning from the Netherlands. The person who stole her motorcycle was introduced by someone.
"Actually, someone introduced it to me. From our family, there is no bad assumption, we just returned from the Netherlands and wanted to renovate the house because it is going to be occupied again," she said.
Furthermore, Nova Eliza is amazed by the work done by the person renovating her house. The person, known as Bayu, started the renovation while Nova Eliza was away for work in another city, even though she had temporarily stopped the renovation work.
"In the first week, the work was really good and I took a break because I had to go to Bali for work. I was there too. But when I returned to Jakarta to continue the renovation, it was gone. That's when I lost it (the motorcycle)," Nova concluded.
